The Jaypro SCMB238-A is a set of shot clock mounting brackets made specifically for 2-3/8" outer diameter ceiling suspended backstop masts. One kit mounts a pair of shot clocks, and because the brackets are reversible and independently mounted, they adapt to almost any shot clock brand. The clocks themselves and their attachment hardware are supplied by others.

Shot clocks are usually bought separately from the backstop, which leaves the question of how to hang them on a ceiling suspended mast. These brackets answer that for one specific mast diameter, so the fit at the mast is engineered rather than improvised.

The brackets are independently mounted and reversible, which means the clock can sit on the left or the right of the mast and the two brackets can be spaced to suit the clock being installed. The mounting holes for the clock itself are located and drilled in the field, which is what allows the same bracket set to accept different shot clock makes.

One kit is supplied to mount a pair of shot clocks. Note that the shot clocks and the hardware that fastens them to the brackets come from the clock supplier, not with this kit. Check your mast's outer diameter before ordering, since this version fits only one size.

Warranty

Jaypro Sports (Waterford, Connecticut) warrants its equipment against defects in material and workmanship from the date of shipment. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Jaypro warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – glass basketball backboards (GBAFR-48, GBRUB-42, GBRUB-54) against breaks and cracks in the glass when used with a direct goal mount.
25 years – structure of wall-mounted basketball backstops and Shooting Station systems.
10 years – uprights on FeatherLite, PowerLite and Hybrid Steel volleyball net systems.
7 years – Collegiate competition basketball goals (GBA-542 "Shot", GBA-642 "Revolution").
5 years – Revolution Series 180° flex basketball goals.
3 years – the majority of the catalog: fixed and breakaway basketball goals, aluminum backboards, lacrosse and field hockey goals, floor sleeves, sleeve reducers and floor anchors, referee stands and equipment carriers.
1 year – bases, home plates and pitching rubbers, volleyball nets and net accessories (antennas, boundary tape, court lines), batting cage systems and general accessories.

The warranty covers factory defects under normal, intended use. Jaypro will repair, replace or refund the defective item at its discretion; claims require a Return Authorization (RMA) before any item is sent back.

Not covered: normal wear, weather exposure, cosmetic damage that does not affect function, improper installation, use other than intended, and any unauthorized alteration or modification of the original factory configuration. As an authorized Jaypro Sports dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
