The First Team FoldaMount46 Victory is a robust folding wall mount basketball goal featuring a 100% fully welded steel wall mount structure constructed from 2” square telescoping tubing with 1 ¾” extensions. For the FoldaMount46 model, this allows for infinite wall-to-backboard distances from 48” to 72”. The wall structure is designed to swing either left or right by means of a diagonal telescoping strut that can be locked at any position, and it accommodates both fan-shaped or rectangular backboards. It is finished with black powder coat paint and secures to three 2”x 8” Dense Southern Yellow Pine wallboards, which are routed on four sides and covered with a clear coat sealant. Support is augmented by an 800#, 3/16” proof chain extending down from the top wallboard at a 45-degree angle, with chain tension adjusted by a turnbuckle.

The system includes a ½” thick tempered glass backboard with an official white shooter’s square and border, featuring a 5”x4” goal mounting pattern. The backboard's aluminum extrusion frame is held together by corner brackets that provide for industry standard 36”x62” short board corner mounting and is pre-drilled for First Team Model FT72C TuffGuard Backboard Padding. The backboard meets all NCAA and National Federation of State High School Associations standards. The goal uses a 5/8” diameter steel ring with an 18” inside diameter and continuous wire netlock attachment. All backplate components are 3/16” thick steel, and the mounting plate is punched with hole patterns for 5”x 5” and 5”x4” mounting. The goal's breakaway mechanism is a positive lock design, factory preset, with an automatic return provided by a single return spring that also cushions breakaway action. This mechanism utilizes two hardened steel balls contained in a tubular assembly, forced outward by a detent to provide proper breakaway pressure, with all pinch points eliminated for player safety. All components of the goal are coated with an official orange powder coated finish, and a white nylon net and mounting hardware are provided.
