The First Team SuperMount68 Advantage is a wall-mount basketball goal featuring a fully welded steel structure with a 72”-96” wall-to-backboard extension. The SuperMount68 Advantage wall mount basketball goal features a 100% fully welded steel structure constructed of 2” square telescoping tubing with 1 ¾” extensions, allowing for a wall-to-backboard distance of 72”-96”. Mounting brackets are no less than ¼” thick with grade 5 zinc plated hardware, all finished with a black powder coat paint. The structure secures to three 2”x 8” Dense Southern Yellow Pine wallboards, routed on four sides and covered with a clear coat sealant. An 800#, 3/16” proof chain extends from the top wallboard at a 45-degree angle to support the steel structure, with chain tension adjusted by a turnbuckle.

This system includes a 39”x54” fan-shaped backboard made of ½” thick tempered glass, marked with an official white shooter’s square and border. The backboard has a 5”x5” goal mounting pattern and an aluminum extrusion frame providing for industry standard 20”x35” fan-shaped mounting. The glass is protected at the rim mounting location, sandwiched between two cushioned steel plates, with rim mounting bolts passing through tubular steel bushings. The backboard meets NCAA and National Federation of State High School Associations standards. The goal design features a 5/8” diameter steel ring with an official 18” inside diameter and continuous wire netlock attachment. It has a positive lock breakaway mechanism with a single return spring and two hardened steel balls for proper breakaway pressure, all finished in an official orange powder coat. A white nylon net and mounting hardware are included.

The entire SuperMount68 Advantage system has a shipping weight of approximately 423# and is backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
