The First Team SuperMount23 Triumph Wall Mount Basketball Goal features a 100% fully welded steel wall mount structure finished with black powder coat paint. It utilizes 2" square telescoping tubing with 1 ¾" extensions to allow for infinite wall-to-backboard distances. Mounting brackets are no less than ¼" thick, and all bolts are grade 5 zinc plated. The structure includes three 2"x 8" wallboards made of Dense Southern Yellow Pine, which are routed on four sides and sealed with a clear coat. A proof chain extends from the top wallboard at a 45-degree angle, supported by a turnbuckle, to brace the steel structure.

The backboard is constructed from ½" thick tempered glass, marked with an official white shooting square and border, and features a 5"x4" goal mounting pattern. Its aluminum extrusion frame is designed for an industry standard 36"x62" short board corner mount. A fabricated steel rim support structure extends the full 72" width of the bottom of the backboard, securing to the aluminum framework with steel spacers that protrude through the glass for rim mounting. The design prevents the rim from contacting the glass when up to 1000 lbs. of pressure is applied during play. The backboard is pre-drilled for First Team Model FT72C TuffGuard Backboard Padding and meets all NCAA and National Federation of State High School Associations standards.

The goal utilizes a 5/8" diameter steel ring with an official 18" inside diameter and continuous wire netlock. Its backplate components are 1/4" thick steel, employing Flush-Mountä construction, and are punched for mounting to any backboard without "below board" protrusion. A ¼" x 1 ½" steel rim support brace provides continuous support around the ring. The positive lock breakaway mechanism is factory preset, with an automatic return spring and a ball/detent mechanism providing proper breakaway pressure while eliminating pinch points for player safety. All components are finished with an official orange powder coat, and a white nylon net with mounting hardware is provided. The rim is made in USA.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
