The First Team SuperMount46 Maverick is a wall-mount basketball goal designed with a 100% fully welded steel structure. This robust frame utilizes 2" square telescoping tubing with 1 ¾" extensions, allowing for adjustable wall-to-backboard distances between 48" and 72". The structure is finished with a black powder coat paint and includes ¼" thick mounting brackets and grade 5 zinc plated hardware. It secures to three 2"x8" Dense Southern Yellow Pine wallboards, which are routed on four sides and covered with a clear coat sealant. An 800#, 3/16" proof chain extends from the top wallboard at a 45-degree angle, supported by a turnbuckle for tension adjustment.

The system features a 40"x54" backboard constructed from ½" thick tempered glass, marked with an official white shooter's square and border. The backboard's frame is an aluminum extrusion held together by corner brackets. It accommodates a 5"x5" goal mounting pattern, where the glass is sandwiched between two cushioned steel plates, and rim mounting bolts pass through tubular steel bushings for secure attachment. The wall structure is versatile, designed to accommodate either fan-shaped or rectangular backboards.

An institutional quality, flexible type rim is included, engineered to absorb player contact stress. It features an official 5/8" diameter ring with a standard 18" I.D. opening and is finished with an orange powder coat. A heavy-duty nylon net is also provided. The entire SuperMount46 Maverick system has an approximate shipping weight of 453# and is backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
