The FoldaMount68 Victory wall mount structure is 100% fully welded, constructed of 2” square telescoping tubing with 1 ¾” extensions, allowing for infinite wall-to-backboard distances from 72”-96”. All mounting brackets are no less than ¼” thick and hardware is grade 5 zinc plated. The structure is designed to swing either left or right via a diagonal telescoping strut that locks at any position and is finished with black powder coat paint. It secures to (3) 2”x 8” Dense Southern Yellow Pine wallboards, supported by an 800#, 3/16” proof chain with turnbuckle tension.
The backboard is made of ½” thick tempered glass, featuring an official white shooter’s square and border, and a 5”x4” goal mounting pattern. Its aluminum extrusion frame uses corner brackets for 36”x62” short board corner mounting. The glass is sandwiched between two cushioned steel plates at the rim mounting location, with top bolts passing through tubular steel bushings and lower studs pre-mounted into a steel faceplate. The backboard meets NCAA and National Federation of State High School Associations standards and is pre-drilled for First Team Model FT72C TuffGuard Backboard Padding.
The goal design incorporates a 5/8” diameter steel ring with an official 18” inside diameter and continuous wire netlock attachment. Backplate components are 3/16” thick steel, and the mounting plate accommodates 5”x 5” and 5”x4” patterns. A ¼” x 1 ½” steel support brace provides continuous support around 50% of the ring. The breakaway mechanism is a positive lock design, factory preset, with an automatic return provided by a single spring and a ball/detent mechanism for proper pressure. All pinch points are eliminated for safety, and all components are finished with official orange powder coat paint. A white nylon net and mounting hardware are included, and the entire system has an approximate shipping weight of 503# and carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty.
