The First Team Tempest Triumph-FL Portable Basketball System is constructed with heavy gauge steel, featuring two 2”x 5” rectangular vertical uprights and a 4”x 4” square extension boom with ½” thick steel reinforcement. It offers a 66” backboard-to-base extension and a Spring-Assist height adjustment system that allows rim heights from regulation 10’ down to 6’ in six-inch increments, operated easily by one person via a removable adjustment pin.

The system is equipped with a 1/2” thick tempered glass backboard (Model FT235), measuring approximately 72” wide and 42” high, supported by clear anodized aluminum framing. An institutional quality flexible rim (Model FT196) with an 18” I.D. opening and 5/8” diameter ring is included, featuring an orange powder coated finish and a heavy-duty nylon net. The all-steel base is designed for maximum stability with a 48” front measurement and accepts 720 lbs of cement blocks plus 300 lbs of pre-welded steel ballast, all riding on four large 8” non-marking wheels for easy portability.

Standard padding on the base, uprights, boom, and ballast box is 2” thick foam mounted on 7/16” wafer board, covered with a 14 oz reinforced vinyl laminate, secured by 2” velcro straps. The entire unit is finished with a white powdercoat and carries a Lifetime Superior Warranty, with a playing weight of approximately 2000#. Optional tie downs are available for floating hardwood floors.

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
