The First Team Fury Eclipse Portable Basketball System is constructed with a 4”x4” x 11 gauge steel upright and a 2”x3”x 11 gauge horizontal extension arm, designed to provide a minimum 48” setback from the backboard to the base when the rim is at 10'. Height adjustment is infinitely variable from 10’ down to 6’6” using an “EZ-Crank” worm-gear system, easily operated by one person. The unit includes standard 2” thick foam padding for the base and upright, which remains in place during adjustment and transport. All steel surfaces are finished with a powder coat black, with the inner telescoping member being zinc plated silver.

The system features a 1/4” thick smoked tempered glass backboard, approximately 60” wide and 36” high, with bright white ceramic markings and a clear anodized aluminum “L” type extrusion framework. The institutional quality rim is a flexible type with an official 5/8” diameter ring and standard 18” I.D. opening, finished with an orange powder coat and directly mounted to the extension arm to eliminate backboard stress. The all-steel base, primarily 3/16” and 11 gauge formed steel, has a 32” wide front and is designed to accept 18 solid cement blocks totaling 540 lbs (ballast not included). For portability, the unit rides on six 4” non-marking wheels, allowing for easy one-person positioning, and the system has an approximate weight of 505 lbs, backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

  • Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
  • Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
  • Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
  • Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
