The Fury III features a heavy-duty steel frame construction with a 4"x4" main upright, 3"x3" telescoping member, and 2"x3" horizontal extension arm. The base measures 32" across and is comprised of 3/16" and 11 gauge formed steel, riding on six 4" non-marking wheels for one-person portability. The ballast area accommodates 18 cement blocks weighing 30 lbs. each for a total capacity of 540 lbs.

Height adjustment is accomplished through an EZ-Crank hand crank system with a worm-gear box and toothed rack, allowing infinitely variable adjustment from 10' down to 6'6". The collapsible extension arm design allows the unit to pass through standard double doors and provides direct rim mounting to the extension arm, minimizing backboard stress. The unit comes equipped with 2" thick foam padding secured by velcro that does not require removal during adjustment or transportation.

The backboard is constructed of 1/2" thick acrylic with bright white screening and clear anodized aluminum framework, measuring approximately 54" wide and 36" high. The rim is institutional quality with an official 5/8" diameter ring and 18" I.D. opening, finished in orange powder coat, paired with a heavy-duty nylon net. The complete system is finished in powder coat black with zinc plated silver inner telescoping member, weighs approximately 495 lbs., and carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
