The First Team Fury III is a portable basketball system with an EZ-Crank height adjustment from 10’ down to 6’6”. The First Team Fury III Portable Basketball System features an angular upright constructed of 4”x4” x 11 gauge steel tubing, with a zinc plated 3”x3” x 11 gauge telescoping member and 2”x3”x 11 gauge horizontal extension arm. This design provides a minimum of 48” setback from the backboard to the base when the rim is at 10’. The 1/2” thick acrylic backboard, approximately 54” wide and 36” high, is supported by a clear anodized aluminum “L” type frame. A flexible, institutional quality rim with an official 5/8” diameter ring and 18” I.D. opening, powder coated orange, is mounted directly to the extension arm, eliminating backboard stress. A heavy-duty nylon net is included.

Height adjustment is achieved via an EZ-Crank worm-gear system, allowing infinite adjustment from 10’ down to 6’6” easily by one person. The all-steel base is primarily 3/16” and 11 gauge formed steel, measuring 32” across the front for stability. It’s designed to accept eighteen 30 lb. cement blocks for a total of 540 lbs. of ballast (not included). For portability, the unit rides on six 4” non-marking wheels, enabling one-person movement, and its horizontal extension arm is collapsible to pass under standard double doors. The entire system has a powder coat black finish, with the inner telescoping member zinc plated silver, and includes 2” thick foam padding for the base and uprights. The complete unit has an approximate system weight of 495 lbs. and carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
