The First Team Fury Select Portable Basketball System is constructed with a main angular upright of 4”x4”x11 gauge steel tubing and a 2”x3”x11 gauge horizontal extension arm that provides a minimum 48” setback from the backboard to the base. The 1/2” thick acrylic backboard, approximately 60” wide by 36” high, is supported by clear anodized aluminum extrusions and tubular braces, with the institutional-quality 5/8” diameter rim directly mounting to the extension arm to eliminate backboard stress. Rim height is infinitely adjustable from 10’ down to 6’6” using a one-person EZ-Crank worm-gear system.

The all-steel base of the Fury Select system is comprised primarily of 3/16” and 11 gauge formed steel, measuring 32” across the front for maximum stability. It is designed to accept (18) 4”x8”x16” solid cement blocks, totaling 540 lbs of ballast (not included), and rides on six 4” non-marking wheels for easy one-person portability. The unit includes 2” thick foam padding for the base and upright, secured by velcro and available in colors. All surfaces feature a powder coat black finish, except the zinc plated silver inner telescoping member. The complete system weighs approximately 505# and carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

  • Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
  • Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
  • Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
  • Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
