The First Team Legend Jr. III Fixed Height Basketball Goal utilizes a sturdy 5" square 3/16" wall steel vertical pole, designed for 42" burial in concrete and sealed with a watertight steel cap. Its main 45-degree extension arm, also 5" square 3/16" wall steel tubing, provides a 52" extension from the pole to the backboard. This arm is reinforced by a ¼" thick backboard mounting plate extending the full height of the backboard and a 4" square 1/8" wall secondary arm tube, attaching to the pole with two ½" thick steel plates and six 5/8" high strength bolts.

Included is a 36"x 54" rectangular 1/2" thick acrylic backboard, framed by a 1/8" thick anodized aluminum framework, and marked with a bright white 2" border and official shooters square on the backside. The flexible, institutional quality rim features a 5/8" diameter high strength steel ring, with structural components no less than 3/16" steel, a 3/16" brace supporting 60% of the ring, a heavy duty compression wire spring, and a steel coverplate, finished with an orange powdercoating.

This system allows for rim height adjustment from 6' to 10'. It features a direct rim mount design where the rim and backboard are attached to the pole by four high strength steel bolts, directly transferring weight to the pole structure. The entire system has an approximate weight of 345# and comes with a Lifetime Superior Warranty covering the pole, backboard, and standard rim.

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
