The First Team Legend Jr. Ultra Basketball System features a 5" square 3/16" steel pole, 3/8" tempered glass backboard (approx. 54" W x 36" H), and a flexible rim. The First Team Legend Jr. Ultra Basketball System is built with a 5" square 3/16" wall steel vertical pole designed for 42" concrete burial and capped with a watertight steel cap. A 45-degree extension arm, also 5" square 3/16" steel, provides a 52" extension from the pole to the backboard face. The backboard itself is 3/8" thick tempered glass with bright white fire impregnated ceramic screening, measuring approximately 54" wide and 36" high, framed by clear anodized aluminum extrusions.

The system features a flexible, institutional-quality rim with a 5/8" diameter high strength steel ring, supported by a 3/16" brace for 60% of the ring, and equipped with a heavy duty compression wire spring. The rim height is adjustable from 6' to 10'. The rim and backboard are directly mounted to the pole using four high strength steel bolts, ensuring weight transfer from the rim directly to the pole structure, which also features a black polyester powder-coated finish.

All steel pole components are welded using a maximum penetration, continuous weld, MIG procedure. The entire system has an approximate weight of 395 lbs. A Lifetime Superior Warranty covers the pole, backboard, and standard rim.

Lifetime Superior Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
