The First Team Legend Jr. Select Basketball System is built with a sturdy 5" square 3/16" wall steel vertical pole, designed for 42" burial in concrete and sealed with a watertight steel cap. It features a main 5" square 3/16" wall steel extension arm that provides a 52" extension from the pole to the backboard face. The system includes a 36"x 60" rectangular 1/2" thick acrylic backboard, framed with 1/8" thick anodized aluminum, and marked with a bright white 2" border and official shooter's square screened on the backside.

The rim is a flexible, institutional-quality type, featuring a heavy duty compression wire spring and a steel coverplate, with a 5/8" diameter high strength steel ring supported by a 3/16" brace covering 60% of the ring. Both the rim and backboard mount directly to the pole using four high strength steel bolts, transferring weight directly to the structure. The backboard is also secured at four points along the top and bottom of the pole, preventing rust streaks. Rim height is adjustable from 6' to 10'.

All steel pole components are MIG welded and finished with a polyester powder-coated black finish, while the rim has an orange powdercoated finish. The entire system weighs approximately 355# and comes with a Lifetime Superior Warranty covering the pole, backboard, and standard rim. This product is Made in USA.

Lifetime Superior Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
