The First Team Legend Jr. Select-BP Basketball System is constructed with robust steel components, including a 5-inch square 3/16-inch wall vertical pole and main extension arm, both finished with a black polyester powder coat. The system provides a 52-inch extension from the front of the pole to the face of the backboard and is designed for ground installation via a 5-bolt anchor system, supported by a 3/8-inch thick baseplate and four gussets.

This system incorporates a 36-inch by 60-inch rectangular acrylic backboard, 1/2-inch thick, framed with 1/8-inch thick anodized aluminum. The backboard features a bright white 2-inch border and an official shooter's square screened on its backside. The flexible-type rim is made from 3/16-inch steel components with a 5/8-inch diameter high strength steel ring, finished with an orange powder coat, and its height is adjustable from 6 feet to 10 feet.

All steel pole components are welded using a maximum penetration, continuous weld, MIG procedure for durability. The rim and backboard are secured with four high strength steel bolts, directly transferring weight from the rim to the pole structure. The complete system has an approximate weight of 525 pounds, and the pole, backboard, and standard rim are backed by a Lifetime Superior Warranty.

Lifetime Superior Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
