The HydroChamp II Basketball System is constructed with a one-piece 4” square stainless steel vertical pole, featuring a minimum 11 gauge wall thickness. The pole includes a 3/8” thick baseplate and 4 support gussets, designed for installation with included 5/8” diameter stainless steel anchor bolts. A black ABS finishing cover conceals the anchor bolts post-installation, and a watertight vinyl cap seals out moisture from the pole. The entire unit is powdercoated black.

Adjustable extension arms, made from 1 1/2” x 1 1/2” tubing, provide a minimum 18” extension from the front of the post to the backboard face. Rim height can be adjusted in six-inch increments, offering a 30” adjustment range, using a pole or broom handle to release the mechanism. A spring within the extension assembly counteracts backboard and rim weight for easier adjustments. The rim mounts directly to the extension arm through the backboard to minimize stress.

The backboard is constructed from 3/8” thick acrylic with bright white screening, framed by clear anodized aluminum “L” type extrusions, and measures approximately 48” wide and 36” high. The institutional quality rim is a flexible type with an official 5/8” diameter ring and a standard 18” I.D. opening, plated yellow zinc prior to an orange powder coated finish. A heavy-duty nylon net is included. The pole, backboard, and standard rim are covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty, and the entire system weighs approximately 150#.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
