The First Team Jam Nitro Basketball System features a one-piece 4” square vertical pole with a minimum 11 gauge wall thickness, designed to be buried 36” in concrete. The First Team Jam Nitro Basketball System is engineered with a one-piece 4” square vertical pole, featuring a minimum 11 gauge wall thickness, designed for burying 36” in concrete and sealed with a watertight vinyl cap. Adjustable extension arms are constructed of dual 2” x 2” tubing, allowing for a minimum 24” extension from the front of the post to the backboard face when the rim is at 10’ playing height. The height adjustment crank cylinder has a minimum 2000# capacity rating, and two springs are integrated into the extension assembly to minimize effort during height adjustments.

The system permits infinite rim height adjustment from 10’ down to 7’, with an easy-to-read label to register the height. The backboard is made of 1/4” thick clear tempered glass with bright white ceramic markings fired into the glass and framed by clear anodized aluminum “L” type extrusions. Its overall dimensions are approximately 60” wide and 36” high. The pole design facilitates mounting the rim directly to the extension arm through the backboard, which helps to reduce stress on the backboard itself.

The standard rim is a flexible, institutional quality type, designed to absorb player contact through a heavy duty compression wire spring, fully enclosed by a steel coverplate. All structural components of the rim are built from no less than 3/16” steel, featuring an official 5/8” diameter high strength steel ring supported by a 3/16” brace covering 60% of the ring. The rim is punched to accommodate either a 3”x 4” or 5”x 5” hole pattern and is finished with an Orange powdercoated finish. The entire system weighs approximately 215#, and the pole, backboard, and standard rim are backed by a Lifetime Superior Warranty.

Lifetime Superior Warranty (pole, backboard, and standard rim)

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
