The First Team RoofMaster II Basketball System features an all welded steel roof mounting structure, including two ¼” thick roof struts with elongated slots, two 1 ¾”x 1 ¾” perforated tubes, I-Rod, and a 3/16” thick support channel. These components form configurable shapes to mount to virtually any roof pitch, requiring an approximate 36”x 54” attachment area. Two safety brackets and turnbuckles are included for additional security.

The system is equipped with adjustable extension arms made of dual 2” x 2” tubing, allowing for infinite rim height adjustment from 10’ down to 7 ½’. Height adjustment is managed by a crank cylinder with a minimum 2000# capacity, aided by two springs and a removable crank handle. The design permits the rim to be mounted directly to the extension arm through the backboard to reduce stress.

A 3/8" thick acrylic backboard with bright white screening is provided, framed by clear anodized aluminum "L" type extrusions, with an overall size of approximately 48" wide and 36" high. The flexible, institutional quality rim has an official 5/8" diameter ring with a standard 18" I.D. opening and an orange powder coated finish, complete with a heavy-duty nylon net. The entire system weighs approximately 238# and carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty for the structure, backboard, and standard rim.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
