Jaypro builds each in-ground basketball system around one of four pole designs. The Gooseneck pole comes in a 4-1/2 in. diameter with a 4 ft. offset or a heavier-duty 5-9/16 in. diameter with a 6 ft. offset, giving more room under the goal for driving lanes. The Straight Post pole is offered in the same two diameters and offsets and suits installs where a straight-line look is preferred over the curved neck. The Titan series steps up to a 6 in. x 6 in. powder-coated black square pole with a 6 ft. offset — the heaviest-duty option in the collection, built for high-use playground and park installs, and available with either in-ground or surface-mount hardware. The Church Yard model uses a 4 in. square pole with a 40 in. play-safe area, a compact footprint suited to smaller lots.

Backboard Materials and Sizes

Backboards in this collection range from 36 in. up to 72 in., so you can match the board to the level of play and the size of the concrete pad. Material options include:

• Steel backboards (60 in. and 72 in.) — durable, budget-friendly boards for recreational and playground use.
• Perforated steel backboards (72 in.) — reduced wind load, a common spec for exposed outdoor courts.
• Aluminum fan backboards (36 in. and 54 in.) — lighter-weight boards sized for playgrounds and multi-purpose courts.
• Acrylic backboards (48 in. and 72 in.) — clearer sightlines and a look closer to glass, used on the Super Goal, Double Rim, and Church Yard models.

Larger 72 in. boards mirror a regulation glass backboard footprint and suit teams practicing shooting angles, while 36-54 in. boards are common on playground and multi-sport goals.

Rim Types and Goal Styles

Within the collection you'll find several named goal packages: Flex Rim Goal systems for added rim durability against hard dunks, Double Rim configurations paired with acrylic boards, Super Goal setups on the heavier 5-9/16 in. gooseneck pole, and Playground Goal packages built around steel or aluminum fan boards for higher-traffic public installs. Most systems in this collection are designed for in-ground installation, meaning the pole sets into a concrete footing for a permanent, single-location hoop — the right call for school athletic departments, park and recreation departments, churches, and homeowners pouring a dedicated court. The Titan Black series additionally offers a surface-mount option, letting the same heavy-duty pole and backboard combination bolt to an existing concrete pad instead of a footing.
