The First Team RoofMaster Turbo Basketball System is designed for roof mounting, featuring an all-welded steel construction mounting structure. This structure includes two ¼” thick roof struts with elongated slots, two 1 ¾”x 1 ¾” perforated tubes, I-Rod, and a 3/16” thick support channel. These components are designed for versatile configuration to fit virtually any roof pitch, requiring an attachment area of approximately 36”x 54”. Two safety brackets and turnbuckles are included for additional security.

The system's adjustable extension arms are constructed from dual 2” x 2” tubing, housing a height adjustment crank cylinder with a minimum 2000# capacity rating. This allows for infinite rim height adjustment from 10’ down to 7 ½’. Two springs minimize effort during height adjustments, and a removable crank handle is provided. The design mounts the rim directly to the extension arm through the backboard to reduce stress on the backboard.

The backboard is made of 1/4” thick clear tempered glass with bright white ceramic markings and features a clear anodized aluminum “L” type extrusion framework, measuring approximately 54” wide and 36” high. The flexible-type rim absorbs player contact stress, with spring action provided by a heavy-duty compression wire spring. All structural rim components are no less than 3/16” steel, and the institutional quality rim has an official 5/8” diameter high strength steel ring supported by a 3/16” brace. It is orange powder coated and punched for either a 3”x 4” or 5”x 5” hole pattern. The entire system weighs approximately 248# and the structure, backboard, and standard rim carry a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
