The First Team RoofMaster Select is a roof-mount basketball system with a 1/2" thick acrylic backboard (approx. 60"x36") and a flexible 5/8" diameter steel rim. The RoofMaster Select Basketball System features an all welded steel roof mounting structure with two ¼” thick roof struts and two 1 ¾”x 1 ¾” perforated tubes. An I-Rod and 3/16” thick support channel are also provided, forming configurable shapes to mount on various roof pitches. The system requires an attachment area of approximately 36”x 54” and includes two safety brackets and turnbuckles for security.

Adjustable extension arms are constructed of dual 2” x 2” tubing, housing a height adjustment crank cylinder with a minimum 2000# capacity. This allows rim height to be adjusted infinitely from 10’ down to 7 ½’, aided by two springs and a removable crank handle. The 1/2" thick acrylic backboard, approximately 60" wide and 36" high, features a clear anodized aluminum "L" type extrusion framework. The flexible rim has an official 5/8" diameter high strength steel ring, supported by a 3/16" brace covering 60% of the ring, with an orange powder coated finish.

All structural rim components are built of no less than 3/16" steel, and the rim is punched to mount with either a 3"x 4" or 5"x 5" hole pattern. The entire system weighs approximately 258#, and the structure, backboard, and standard rim carry a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
