In short

The First Team Legend Supreme Basketball System features a 6” square steel pole buried 48” in concrete, extending 66” to a 42”x 72” 1/2” thick clear acrylic backboard with an anodized aluminum frame. It includes a flexible, institutional quality rim with direct pole mounting for structural integrity. The system has a polyester powder-coated black finish on pole components and an orange powdercoated rim, and comes with a Lifetime Unconditional Warranty on the pole, backboard, and standard rim.

The First Team Legend Supreme Basketball System features a robust construction centered around a 6” square 3/16” wall steel vertical pole, designed to be buried 48” in concrete and sealed with a watertight steel cap. A 45 degree, 6” square 3/16” wall steel extension arm provides a 66” extension from the pole to the backboard face. This arm is securely attached to the pole by two ½” thick steel plates and six 5/8” high strength bolts, with all steel pole components welded using maximum penetration, continuous weld, MIG procedure and finished with a polyester powder-coated black coating.

The system includes a 42”x 72” rectangular 1/2” thick clear acrylic backboard framed in competition grade anodized aluminum, featuring a bright white 2” border and official size shooter’s square screen-printed on the backside. A flexible, institutional quality rim with structural components of no less than 3/16” steel, a 5/8” diameter high strength steel ring, and an orange powdercoated finish is included. The rim and backboard are directly mounted to the pole with four high strength steel bolts, transferring weight suspended from the rim directly to the pole structure, and the backboard is additionally mounted at four top and bottom points to prevent rust streaks. The entire system weighs approximately 470# and is covered by a Lifetime Unconditional Warranty on the pole, backboard, and standard rim.

Lifetime Superior Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
