The First Team Champ Eclipse-BP Basketball System is an in-ground adjustable goal featuring a steel vertical pole with a black powder coat finish. The vertical post is 4" square tubing with an 11-gauge wall thickness, including a 3/8" thick baseplate and 4 support gussets for anchoring. Adjustable extension arms, constructed of 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" tubing, provide a minimum 18" extension from the front of the post to the backboard face when the rim is at a 10' playing height.

This system allows for rim height adjustments in six-inch increments from 10' down to 7 1/2' using a pole or broom handle to release an adjustment mechanism. A spring in the extension assembly counteracts the weight of the backboard and rim for easier one-person adjustments. The backboard is made from 1/4" thick smoked tempered glass with bright white ceramic markings, framed by clear anodized aluminum "L" type extrusions, and measures approximately 60" wide and 36" high.

The Champ Eclipse-BP includes an institutional quality, flexible orange powder-coated rim with an official 5/8" diameter ring and a standard 18" I.D. opening diameter, designed to absorb player contact stress. A heavy-duty nylon net is provided. The pole, backboard, and standard rim are covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty, and the entire system weighs approximately 286#.

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
