The PK3535 playground basketball system is designed to help physical education and park budgets go further without stepping down to residential-grade hardware. The braced 3-1/2" O.D. gooseneck post sets the backboard 36" back from the pole, keeping the playing surface under the rim clear.

The package is supplied as a matched set: GNA35 gooseneck post, 1750B fan-shape marked aluminum backboard, 39WO economy fixed single rim, plus the AAB35-12 brace and 15G353946 brace kit. Because braces are used on this model, assembly follows the braced-model sequence in the Gared gooseneck backboard system instructions.

The system ships by truck at 230 lbs (104.33 kg) with shipping dimensions of 37" x 3" x 54" and shipping class 70. Gared specifies that only authorized personnel should install or adjust the extension arm, backboard or goal, and recommends preventative maintenance inspections at least once per year, more often under high or unusual usage.

Warranty

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
