The Sand Stellar Basic Recreational Volleyball System is designed for sand courts requiring periodic post removal. Its uprights are constructed from 3 ½” x ¼” wall aluminum tubing with a powdercoated finish, ensuring durability against the elements. The system includes FT5035 ground sleeves for sand, which protrude 34” below sand level and 2” above.
Net height can be infinitely varied from 7’ 11 5/8” (men’s volleyball) down to 36” (tennis) 42” using two height-adjustable clamps and adjustment knobs, with settings clearly identified on the upright tube. The net is one meter high, made of black polypropylene 3.5mm knotless woven webbing with a Kevlar top rope and polypropylene bottom rope. The top, bottom, and sides of the net are finished with white tarpaulin fabric with double stitched hemmed edges. Net tensioning is managed by a high tension worm gear driven crank for the top rope and a ratcheting style tensioner for the bottom rope.
The entire Sand Stellar Basic system weighs 180 lbs and is certified to meet or exceed all NCAA, USVBA, NFHS, and FIVB requirements for competition. Upright standards carry a Lifetime Limited Warranty, and all other components carry a 2-Year Limited Warranty.
