The First Team Galaxy Express-SBS Competition Volleyball System features uprights constructed from an external 3 1/2" outside diameter black carbon fiber tube and a 3" outside diameter 6061-T6 aluminum telescoping inner pole, fitted with non-marking footpads. The system includes two 1-meter high nets made of black polypropylene 3.5mm knotless woven webbing with Kevlar top ropes and polypropylene bottom ropes. Net height is infinitely variable from a minimum of 78" to 96" using a single threaded release knob per standard, with settings clearly identified on the inner telescoping tube.

Net tensioning is managed by a 26:1 ratio worm gear winch for the top rope, winding a 2" wide nylon webbing strap, and a ratcheting style tensioner for the bottom rope. Each net's side tapes feature internal dowels and are tensioned by no less than two ratchet style rope tensioners per end. For player safety, top and bottom ropes are covered with at least 1/2" thick foam padding with a white vinyl cover, and each standard is padded to a minimum height of 72" with 1 1/2" thick high-density foam in a choice of 12 school colors. The entire system includes official boundary antennas and a center post pad.

The Galaxy Express-SBS system weighs 170 lbs and is designed for a "side-by-side" court setup, including an additional winch standard, center post pad, net, antennas, and side tape tensioners compared to the standard Galaxy Express. Upright standards are covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty, while all other components carry a 2-Year Limited Warranty. The complete system meets or exceeds all NCAA, USVBA, NFHS, and FIVB requirements for competition.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
