The Douglas SW-36 Deluxe POP Tennis Posts are external-wind, recreational-grade posts made in the USA and designed for tough, everyday wear on public facility courts. Constructed from heavy-duty 8-gauge steel with a 2-7/8 in. outside diameter, each post measures 54 in. in length and sits 36 in. above the court surface when installed.

Systems are finished with a black or forest green baked-on polyester powder coat to resist rust and extend service life. The Douglas Deluxe reel is made from aluminum and offers smooth tension adjustment via a side-mounted removable handle; external gears and the handle share the same powder coat finish, while gear caps are die-cast zinc for added durability.

Corresponding ground sleeves are required for installation but sold separately, available in either 24 in. PVC or 24 in. Aluminum options to match the 2-7/8 in. OD post. The posts are backed by a 5 Year Limited Warranty.

5 Year Limited

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use. As an authorized Douglas dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
