The Douglas TN-28DM Tennis Net is built for high-traffic public settings such as schools and park and recreation facilities. Its top five rows use double mesh netting to reduce wear in the area where balls make the most contact, extending the net's service life compared to standard single-mesh designs.

The net combines a durable polyester web headband, preferred by professional players for consistent ball reaction, with a vinyl-coated 5/32 in. galvanized steel cable rated to 2300 lb. break strength. The 1-3/4 in. square mesh braided polyethylene netting is 3.5 mm thick and rated to 325 lb. break strength, offering strong resistance to weathering and wear. Vinyl bottom tape and side pockets are double lock-stitched with polyester thread to resist shrinking, mildew, and rot.

Made in the USA, the net ships with 1/2 in. fiberglass side dowels and lacing cord, while center straps are sold separately. It carries a 5-Year Limited warranty and meets official USTA size requirements at 42 ft. x 3 ft. 6 in.

5 Year Limited

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use. As an authorized Douglas dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
