The First Team FoldaMount82 Advantage is a robust folding wall mount basketball goal designed with a 100% fully welded structure of 2” square telescoping tubing, featuring 1 ¾” extensions. This allows for an adjustable wall-to-backboard distance from 96” to 144” for the FoldaMount82 model. The structure is finished with black powder coat paint and includes grade 5 zinc plated hardware, securing to three 2”x 8” Dense Southern Yellow Pine wallboards, which are routed on four sides and covered with a clear coat sealant. Support is augmented by an 800#, 3/16” proof chain extending from the top wallboard at a 45 degree angle, with chain tension made possible by a turnbuckle. The mount is designed to swing left or right via a diagonal telescoping strut that can be locked at any position, and it can accommodate either fan-shaped or rectangular backboards.

The system features a 39”x54” fan-shaped backboard made of ½” thick tempered glass, marked with an official white shooter’s square and border, and designed with a 5”x5” goal mounting pattern. The backboard frame is constructed from aluminum extrusion, providing an industry standard 20”x35” fan-shaped mounting, and at the rim mounting location, glass is sandwiched between two cushioned steel plates. The backboard meets all NCAA and National Federation of State High School Associations standards. The goal consists of an official 18” inside diameter, 5/8” diameter steel ring with a continuous wire netlock attachment. Its backplate components are 3/16” thick steel, and a ¼” x 1 ½” steel brace offers continuous support around 50% of the ring. The breakaway mechanism is a factory preset positive lock design with an automatic return provided by a single return spring and a hardened steel ball/detent system, ensuring player safety by eliminating pinch points. All goal components are finished with an official orange powder coat, and a white nylon net along with mounting hardware is provided. The entire system has an approximate shipping weight of 433# and is covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
