In short

The Gared GP10G72DM Pro Jam is an adjustable in-ground basketball system with a 6" square steel post (3/16" wall), a 42" x 72" BB72G50HH tempered glass backboard and a Gared 2000+ collegiate breakaway goal. Playing height adjusts anywhere between 7'-0" and 10'-0" using the lockable sidewind actuator, and the post bolts to ground for easier installation. Padding is sold separately.

The Pro Jam GP10G72DM is designed for outdoor applications that need a durable adjustable basketball system - parks, playgrounds and residential courts. The 6" square steel post with 3/16" wall thickness carries two formed steel extension arms that pivot on tight-fit non-metallic flanged bearings, so the board and goal raise and lower smoothly.

Height is set anywhere between 7'-0" and 10'-0" by engaging the heavy duty lockable actuator, which lets a single person move the goal from youth to competitive heights. At the 10' playing height the extension arms hold the backboard 4'-0" (48") away from the post for a safe play area under the basket.

The system carries the Gared BB72G50HH rectangular glass backboard - 1/2" tempered glass permanently bonded to a steel tubular frame with aluminum extrusions, 42" high by 72" wide, with clear view design. The rim is the Gared 2000+ Collegiate Breakaway Goal with an official 18" ring of 5/8" diameter steel, full wing brace and continuous no-tie net attachment, supplied with a nylon net.

Installation uses a bolt-to-ground template plate with 3/4" zinc plated U-bolts, so the unit can be removed or relocated later. Plan on 1/2 yard of concrete or 14-16 bags of 80 lb pre-mix for the footing. Post and arms are powder coated black to resist rust. Padding is not included; LSCE72 board padding, PP6WR or PP6SQF pole pads and the BP6SQ base pad are available separately.

Warranty

1-Year Limited Warranty

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
