The kit is built around 600 feet of 1/4 in. galvanized steel cable rated for 6,100 lb. breaking strength, along with 12 in. and 6 in. turnbuckles, 1/4 in. cable clamps, 6 in. eye bolts, and 8 mm spring links to secure and tension the netting.
Douglas recommends spacing wall-mounted eyebolts every 3 to 4 feet when installing this hardware against a wall, though wall hardware itself is not included in this kit. For pole-supported installations, a pole size of 10.75 in. OD with .375 in. wall thickness is recommended. Netting and poles are sold separately, and Douglas suggests pairing this hardware with high-impact 1-3/4 in. square mesh baseball netting featuring a rope-bound border, available in materials such as #12 Knotted Dyneema, #42 Knotted Ultra HDPE, Twisted Knotted Nylon, or Knotless Polypropylene.
