The Jaypro BBC-PARKITB is a ceiling cage support kit for retractable batting cages hung parallel to building beams spaced 8 ft. to 12 ft. on center. It contains an attachment kit and support structure with nine 1-5/8" x 3-1/4" x 168" double strut channels and thirty-six double strut beam clamp assemblies. The ceiling suspended retractable batting cage itself is purchased separately.

When a gym's structural beams run parallel to the batting cage but sit farther apart, the standard kit no longer spans the gap. BBC-PARKITB is the heavier parallel spanning option, rated for beam spacing from 8 ft. up to 12 ft. on center.

The extra span is handled with double strut hardware: nine SR5243-168 double strut channels measuring 1-5/8" x 3-1/4" x 168" and thirty-six HM6159 double strut beam clamp assemblies. The kit arrives as a complete cage support package containing both the attachment kit and the support structure.

Layout follows the cage, which measures 12 or 14 ft. wide by 70 ft. long once assembled, with a clear perimeter area and a 14" minimum offset called out in the drawings. The motor sits outside the frame so it stays serviceable whether the cage is retracted or lowered.

Warranty

Jaypro Sports (Waterford, Connecticut) warrants its equipment against defects in material and workmanship from the date of shipment. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Jaypro warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – glass basketball backboards (GBAFR-48, GBRUB-42, GBRUB-54) against breaks and cracks in the glass when used with a direct goal mount.
25 years – structure of wall-mounted basketball backstops and Shooting Station systems.
10 years – uprights on FeatherLite, PowerLite and Hybrid Steel volleyball net systems.
7 years – Collegiate competition basketball goals (GBA-542 "Shot", GBA-642 "Revolution").
5 years – Revolution Series 180° flex basketball goals.
3 years – the majority of the catalog: fixed and breakaway basketball goals, aluminum backboards, lacrosse and field hockey goals, floor sleeves, sleeve reducers and floor anchors, referee stands and equipment carriers.
1 year – bases, home plates and pitching rubbers, volleyball nets and net accessories (antennas, boundary tape, court lines), batting cage systems and general accessories.

The warranty covers factory defects under normal, intended use. Jaypro will repair, replace or refund the defective item at its discretion; claims require a Return Authorization (RMA) before any item is sent back.

Not covered: normal wear, weather exposure, cosmetic damage that does not affect function, improper installation, use other than intended, and any unauthorized alteration or modification of the original factory configuration. As an authorized Jaypro Sports dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
