The FT8000SM Surface Mount Bracket offers a practical solution for installing tennis or pickleball posts when court excavation is not feasible. Designed for convenience, this bracket allows you to securely mount your posts directly onto the playing surface, bypassing the need for digging or complex ground preparation. It is specifically engineered to accommodate 3.5" OD posts, providing a stable and reliable base for your court equipment. This bracket is ideal for existing courts where subsurface conditions prevent traditional in-ground installation, or for setups requiring a solid, non-permanent foundation. Its straightforward design ensures a secure fit, keeping your posts firmly in place during active play.

Installation involves positioning the bracket, marking the drill points, and securing it with appropriate anchor hardware, which is not included due to varying surface types. For standard concrete playing surfaces at least 6 inches thick, First Team recommends using ½” x 5 ½” expansion anchors. The baseplate holes are sized to accept up to ½” diameter anchors, offering flexibility in your hardware choice. Remember to orient the slotted cutout towards the center of the court for proper post alignment. Each FT8000SM bracket is sold individually, allowing you to purchase the exact quantity needed for your court setup.

What if my product is damaged?

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage, even damage to the box, you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If you’re unable to open the package during delivery but suspect damage, write “suspect damage” on the delivery receipt. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to info@joysportstore.com  and we will process a replacement or compensation.

How do I know when my order will ship?

Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email confirmation credit card authorization and shipping/billing information.
