The Douglas PTN-28 Paddle Tennis Net is built to official paddle tennis dimensions of 21'10" length by 32 in. height, satisfying USTA size requirements for regulation play. The headband is constructed from 65 oz (20 oz./sq. yd.) 2-ply vinyl coated polyester, lock-sewn with four rows of #32 white polyester thread, and reinforced with a vinyl coated 5/32 in. galvanized steel cable rated at 2300 lb. break strength for consistent net tension.

Netting is 1-3/4 in. square mesh braided solid core polyethylene at 3.0 mm diameter, offering 285 lb. break strength along with strong durability and weather resistance. The vinyl bottom tape and headband side pockets are polyester based to resist shrinking, mildew, and rot, and are double lock-stitched with black polyester thread for long-term reliability outdoors.

The net includes 1/2 in. fiberglass side dowels and lacing cord for installation, and weighs 11.000 lbs. It is backed by a 4-Year Limited Warranty, and installation documentation along with a cut sheet are available directly from Douglas Sports for reference during setup.

4 Year Limited

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use.
