The First Team Frontier Express - SBS is a competition volleyball system featuring external 3 1/2" steel and internal 3" aluminum telescoping uprights with infinitely variable net height from 78" to 96". The First Team Frontier Express - SBS is a competition volleyball system featuring robust uprights and a high-quality net. The uprights consist of an external 3 1/2" outside diameter, 1/4" wall DOM welded steel tube and a 3" outside diameter 6061-T6 aluminum telescoping inner pole. A pin in the outer tube rides in a machined slot in the inner tube to eliminate rotation and prohibit separation of the inner tube. The net is one meter high, constructed of black polypropylene 3.5mm knotless woven webbing, with a Kevlar top rope and polypropylene bottom rope, finished with white tarpaulin fabric with double stitched hemmed edges.

Net height is infinitely variable from 78" to 96", adjusted by a single threaded release knob per standard, with height settings clearly identified. Net tensioning is managed by a 26:1 ratio worm gear winch for the top rope, a ratcheting style tensioner for the bottom rope, and no less than two ratchet style rope tensioners per end for the side tapes. Player safety is ensured with no less than 1/2" thick foam padding covering top and bottom ropes between standards and the net edge, and each standard is padded to a minimum height of 72" with 1 1/2" thick high-density foam in a choice of 12 school colors. The entire system meets or exceeds all NCAA, USVBA, NFHS and FIVB requirements for competition.

The Frontier Express-SBS system, weighing 290 lbs, is specifically configured for a "side-by-side" court. It includes an additional winch standard, center post pad, net, antennas, and side tape tensioners beyond the standard setup. Individual non-winch standards weigh approximately 60 lbs, while winch end standards weigh approximately 65 lbs. The upright standards come with a Lifetime Limited Warranty, and all other components carry a 2-Year Limited Warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
