The Douglas D-Pro 435 MAX Basketball System is built for durability and playing performance, targeting home owners and recreational establishments. It centers on a MAX Polycarbonate Clear View Backboard measuring 42 in. x 60 in. and 1/2 in. thick, framed with an aluminum perimeter and supported by a welded steel back frame for rigidity. The clear-view design is achieved through reinforced galvanized steel extension arms that attach directly to the perimeter frame instead of a traditional H-frame support, giving it a professional appearance.

The system's Pressure Breakaway Goal is constructed of steel with a CSPC compliant powder-coat finish, featuring a 5/8 in. thick, 18 in. rim and a double spring pressure flex breakaway mechanism to withstand aggressive play and dunks. It attaches to the backboard via a double reinforced steel backplate and includes hidden net attachment hooks along the inside of the hoop.

Structural support comes from a one-piece, 4 in. square, 7 gauge galvanized steel pole with double welded base gussets, finished in black acrylic powder coat to resist chipping, rusting, and corrosion. A 2 in. thick fitted pole and base pad is included for safety. Height adjustment is handled by a smooth, lift-assist pre-assembled cylinder, allowing the goal to be raised or lowered anywhere from 6 ft. to 10 ft. with minimal effort.

Warranty

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use.
