The FCH885-XXL is Ironclad's largest adjustable in-ground system, built for regulation full court or half court setups. It uses a one-piece 8"x8" 7 gauge square pole with a 5' offset, positioning the post 12" beyond the baseline, and adjusts from 5.5' up to the regulation 10' rim height using a spring-assist crank design.

The 42"x72" backboard is 1/2" tempered glass, matching regulation sizing used in high school, college, and professional play. The ClearView mounting design eliminates support bars behind the glass for an unobstructed look. A heavy duty flex breakaway rim and net are included.

The unit includes pre-installed post and backboard padding, and is protected by a zinc galvanized undercoat topped with black powder coat (Weather Shield Protection). Installation uses a bolt-down anchor design, allowing the system to be disconnected and relocated if the owner moves. Delivery is made via lift gate.

Warranty

Lifetime warranty (original owner, non-transferable) covers dunking/rim damage; paint & padding limited to 1 year; excludes vandalism and weather/UV wear.

Every Ironclad Sports basketball system is backed by the manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what Ironclad's warranty covers:

Lifetime Warranty on the system - covers damage caused by any basketball related activity, including dunking and hanging on the rim.
GameChanger models - warrantied against dunking only.
Coating - all painted items carry a one-year limited warranty on the coating.
Padding - all post and backboard padding carries a one-year limited warranty.
Not covered - damage caused by vandalism, and normal wear and tear from weathering or UV exposure.

Frequently asked questions

How much clearance should I leave behind the pole if there's a wall?

Ironclad recommends allowing 18" of distance from the back of the post to any wall or obstruction for ease of cranking.

Can the unit be relocated if I move homes?

Yes, the bolt-down anchor base allows the unit to be disconnected from the concrete footing and moved; new anchor bolts may be needed for reinstallation.

What is included with delivery of the FCH885-XXL?

The unit is delivered via lift gate to assist lowering it off the truck, and requires a signature at delivery to confirm condition.
