The Douglas Straightliner Plus is a court line taping machine designed to mask boundary lines on tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, and other surfaces requiring precise straight-line markings. Rather than applying tape by hand, the operator pushes the machine along the court surface, and the rollers pull the tape through guides to affix it firmly and accurately to the surface.

Construction includes a black powder-coated steel frame, a non-corrosive aluminum tape holder, and smooth black hard rubber rollers that are non-marking so they will not leave marks on the court surface. The unit also includes a comfort grip black rubber handle and a removable 10 in. pointer guide that screws into the front of the base frame for aligning the machine with a chalk line or string guide. Masking tape is not included.

The machine is set up to lay straight and curved lines spaced 1-1/2 in., 2 in., or 2-1/2 in. apart and is compatible with 1 in. wide masking tape. It weighs 10 lbs and is backed by a 1 year standard warranty. Installation instructions and cut sheets are available as support documents.

1 Year standard warranty

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use. As an authorized Douglas dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
