The GSTNPERDB round competition tennis posts are designed for competition or recreational tennis play in a park, school, or residential setting. Superior strength and attractive design make them a solid choice wherever a court needs posts that hold net tension correctly match after match.
Each post is constructed of 11-gauge steel with a 3" outside diameter and finished in black polyester powdercoat (the same post is offered in green as model GSTNPERD). The posts are fitted with aluminum caps with stainless steel fixing pins, and lacing bars made from tensile 3/16 steel are welded to the posts to keep the net edge straight.
Net tensioning is handled by a high-quality integral brass winder with a removable handle; the winder end contains a 3-1/4" brass pulley, and the anchor end has 2 x 5/16" hooks welded to the post for headline anchoring. The system is designed for permanent installation, but the posts can be made removable if separate GSTNGSERD heavy-duty ground sleeves are purchased.
