The Douglas Premier Square Surface Mount Pickleball Posts allow courts to be converted for pickleball play without installing in-ground sleeves. Built from 3 in. square, 11-gauge steel, each post is welded to a heavy-duty 7 in. x 7 in. base plate that bolts directly to the concrete playing surface, standing 36 in. in length.

These posts share the core hardware of the classic in-ground Premier SQ series, including an internally wound, self-locking gear mechanism with a 30:1 ratio for smooth net tensioning, a cast aluminum gear housing, and a chrome-plated flush gear plate cover with a removable handle for safety and convenience. Integrated welded steel lacing rods secure the net to the post, and the black baked-on polyester powder coat finish resists rust for reliable indoor or outdoor use.

Meeting official USAPA Tournament Regulations, these posts are sold per pair and are backed by Douglas' 5-Year Limited Warranty covering the welded base plate, steel gears and hardware, and lacing rods.

5-Year Limited Warranty

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use. As an authorized Douglas dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
