The Douglas SW-36 Deluxe Pickleball Posts are part of the Sidewinder line, built as recreational workhorses designed for tough, high-use wear at parks and recreational courts. Constructed from 2-7/8 in. O.D. heavy-duty 8-gauge steel, the posts undergo Allied's superior Flo-coat galvanization process and are finished with a baked-on polyester powder coat in black or green to resist rust and increase durability.

Each post measures 54 in. in overall length and, once inserted into the pre-installed ground sleeve, sits 36 in. above the court surface, with a base collar acting as a stop to ensure correct installation height. The posts meet official USAPA Tournament Regulations and are suitable for indoor or outdoor use, sold per pair.

Hardware includes a Douglas deluxe reel made from rust-free aluminum, featuring a side-mounted removable handle for easy adjustment and safety, finished in a matching black or green powder coat. Corresponding 24 in. ground sleeves are recommended but sold separately, allowing posts to be removed and stored during off-seasons to extend their lifespan, and easily replaced by sliding new posts into the existing sleeve.

5-Year Limited Warranty

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use.
