The Douglas TN-36DMT Tennis Net builds on the standard TN36 design by adding double mesh thickness to the top 5 rows of netting, the area most impacted by ball contact and prone to fatigue over time. The 3.5mm braided solid core polyethylene netting is rated at 325 lb break strength and features a 1-3/4 in. square mesh pattern, offering strong resistance to wear and weather exposure.

The net is official size at 42 ft. x 3 ft. 6 in., meeting USTA requirements, with a tapered design that brings the center height down to 36 in. This tapering reduces excess rubbing of the vinyl bottom tape against the court surface and eliminates center bunching common in non-tapered nets. The headband is constructed from 65 oz 2-ply vinyl coated polyester, lock-sewn with four rows of #32 white polyester thread, and reinforced with a vinyl coated 5/32 in. galvanized steel cable rated at 2300 lb break strength.

Designed for heavy-use public facilities as well as private clubs and residences seeking a professional-grade net, the TN-36DMT includes 1/2 in. fiberglass side dowels and lacing cord (center straps sold separately). The net is backed by a 5-Year Limited Warranty.

5 Year Limited

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use. As an authorized Douglas dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
