The Douglas TN-36T Tennis Net is built for schools, parks, and recreation facilities that need a durable, official-size net meeting USTA requirements. Its tapered bottom design reduces excess rubbing against the playing surface and eliminates the center bunching common in flat-bottom nets, resulting in a cleaner look and increased durability over time.

The net body uses 3.5mm braided solid core polyethylene with a 1-3/4 in. square mesh, offering strong weather resistance and a 325 lb break strength. The headband is a heavy-duty 65 oz 2-ply vinyl coated polyester construction, lock-sewn with four rows of polyester thread and reinforced with a 5/32 in. galvanized steel cable rated at 2300 lb break strength for reliable tensioning.

Side and bottom tapes are polyester-based to resist shrinking, mildew, and rot, and are double lock-stitched with black polyester thread for long-term outdoor use. The net ships with 1/2 in. fiberglass side dowels and lacing cord, though center straps are sold separately, and is supported by a 5-Year Limited Warranty.

5 Year Limited

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use. As an authorized Douglas dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
