The Douglas Premier RD-36 Pickleball Posts feature a 3 in. O.D. round, heavy-duty 11-gauge steel construction finished with a baked-on polyester powder coat in either black or green. Each post measures 54 in. in length and, once inserted into a pre-installed ground sleeve, sits 36 in. above the court surface, with a base collar acting as a stop to ensure correct installation height.

These posts use an internally wound, self-locking gear mechanism with a 30:1 ratio for smooth net tensioning, preventing recoil during winding. The main gear is plated steel and the small gear is case-hardened, while the gear housing and caps are cast aluminum alloy. The gear plate cover and removable handle are chrome-plated for durability and ease of use. Integrated welded steel lacing rods secure the net to the post.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor pickleball facilities, the Premier RD-36 posts meet official USAPA Tournament Regulations and are sold per pair. 5 Year Limited Warranty

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use.
