The Douglas Premier RD Tennis Posts feature a classic 3-inch OD round profile, offering a traditional look suited to both indoor and outdoor court installations. Constructed from heavy-duty 11-gauge steel, the posts measure 60 inches in overall length and sit 42 inches above the court surface once installed, matching standard net height requirements.

Each post is finished with a black or forest green baked-on polyester powder coat to resist rust and extend service life. Integrated welded steel lacing rods are built in for a clean, professional net installation. The internally wound hardware uses a self-locking gear mechanism with a 30:1 gear ratio for smooth, easy tensioning; gears are plated steel with a case-hardened small gear, while housings, caps, and the handle are cast aluminum alloy and chrome plated respectively.

Corresponding 24-inch steel ground sleeves are required for installation but are sold separately. The posts are covered by a 5-Year Limited Warranty and are available in black or green.

5 Year Limited

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use.
