First Team's Scorpion portable pickleball set is designed to provide true game-quality performance similar to in-ground models, eliminating the instability common in cheaper portable systems. The weighted ballast box at the back of the unit carries 300 lbs. of pre-installed weight, keeping the base stable during net tensioning and play.

Despite the weight, the base units are easily moved by one person: simply tip the upright backward to engage the rolling wheels and push or pull the unit to the desired location. The unique weighted base design eliminates the need for a long ground stiffening bar, making the Scorpion easy to move and store, with the base units and net storing in an area roughly 48" x 60".

Each Scorpion base includes black safety padding to guard against player contact, which does not need to be removed during transport, making it a convenient and safe choice for pickleball courts.
