In short

The Gared 6020 is a 6' tall safety pad for the center upright of a multi-court volleyball system. It is supplied as two separate pieces, each 72" in height, built from minimum 1 1/2" high density polyethylene foam under a sewn 14-ounce nylon-reinforced vinyl cover, and it straps to the post with vinyl straps and Velcro fasteners. Standard color model numbers run from 6020-1 Navy through 6029 Beige, with model 6020 covering custom colors.

The 6020 protects volleyball athletes from contact with the center upright on two-court and three-court systems. It is specified for the center upright of Gared multi-court model 5000, 5100, 5300, 6000, 6100, 7200 and 7300 series volleyball systems and is sold as each.

The pad is furnished as two separate pieces, each 72" in height, giving a 6'-0" (1829 mm) padded section. Padding is minimum 1 1/2" (38 mm) high density polyethylene foam covered with 14-ounce nylon-reinforced vinyl, sewn for durability in daily gym use.

Attachment to the upright is by vinyl straps and Velcro fasteners, so the pad goes on and comes off quickly during court setup and tear down. Teams can match school colors from the standard chart, which includes Navy (6020-1), Purple (6020-2), Forest Green (6020-3), Maroon (6020-4), White (6020-5), Marine Blue (6020-7), Royal Blue (6021), Yellow/Gold (6022), Orange (6023), Red (6024), Kelly Green (6025), Gray (6027), Black (6028) and Beige (6029). Custom colors are ordered as model 6020 with a written description.

Warranty

1-Year Limited Warranty (6010/6020 Volleyball Upright Padding)

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
