The Douglas Straightliner was developed over 35 years ago and is the original tennis court line tape machine, designed to mask court boundaries for tennis, pickleball, basketball, and other surfaces requiring precise straight-line markings. Rather than applying tape by hand, the operator simply pushes the machine along the court surface, and the rollers pull the tape through interchangeable guides to affix it firmly and evenly to the surface.
Construction consists of a black powder-coated steel frame, a non-corrosive aluminum tape holder, and durable black hard rubber rollers that are non-marking so they will not leave marks on the court. The unit also has a comfort grip black rubber handle and a removable 10 in. pointer guide that screws into the front of the base frame, which is used to align the machine with a chalk line or string for straight taping.
The Straightliner can lay parallel lines spaced 1-1/2 in., 2 in., 2-1/2 in., or 3 in. apart, and accommodates 1 in. or 2 in. wide masking tape using the two included interchangeable tape guides. The unit weighs 10 lbs and includes a 1 Year standard warranty; masking tape is not included with purchase.
