The First Team FT234 Competition Glass Basketball Backboard is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of official play, adhering to all NCAA and National Federation of State High School Associations standards. This backboard features an official 42"x72" playing surface crafted from 1/2" thick tempered glass, providing consistent rebound and exceptional clarity. The regulation white border and shooter's square are permanently fired into the glass, ensuring they will not wear off even with extensive use. Its robust construction is designed for environments where competitive play is the norm, offering a reliable and authentic basketball experience.

Beyond its durable glass, the FT234 incorporates thoughtful design elements for longevity and performance. The glass is securely sandwiched between cushioned steel plates at the rim mounting location, with top rim mounting bolts passing through tubular steel bushings to absorb impact and reduce stress. An aluminum extrusion frame, held by corner brackets, provides industry-standard 36"x62" short board corner mounting. For added safety and convenience, the board comes pre-drilled for First Team's FT72C TuffGuard backboard padding. What if my product is damaged?

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage, even damage to the box, you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If you’re unable to open the package during delivery but suspect damage, write “suspect damage” on the delivery receipt. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to info@joysportstore.com  and we will process a replacement or compensation.

How do I know when my order will ship?

Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email confirmation credit card authorization and shipping/billing information.

We will immediately process your order and you will receive an email confirming your order has shipped with a tracking number once it leaves the warehouse. 

If an item goes out of stock, you will be notified via email or phone within one business day. We take great measures to ensure all products listed on our website are in stock, but often times items can quickly sell out due to high demand.
