The First Team Legend Arena BP Fixed Height Basketball Goal features a robust construction centered around a 6" square steel vertical pole with a 3/16" wall thickness, finished in polyester powder-coated black. The vertical pole is anchored by a 3/8" thick baseplate with four support gussets, designed for a 5-bolt anchor system. Its 45-degree extension arm, also made of 6" square 3/16" wall steel tubing, provides a significant 66" extension from the front of the pole to the face of the backboard. This arm is securely attached to the pole using two ½" thick steel plates and six 5/8" high strength bolts.

The system includes a 42"x 72" rectangular, 1/2" thick tempered glass backboard, framed in competition-grade anodized aluminum. The backboard features bright white 2" border and an official size shooters square "fired" on its backside for durability, and is mounted to the pole at four places along the top and bottom. The flexible, institutional-quality rim has an official 5/8" diameter high strength steel ring, supported by a 3/16" brace and finished with an orange powder coat. Its heavy-duty compression wire spring mechanism is enclosed by a steel cover plate, and the rim mounts directly to the pole via four high strength steel bolts to transfer weight efficiently.

All steel pole components are welded using a maximum penetration, continuous weld, MIG procedure, ensuring high strength and durability. The entire Legend Arena-BP system has an approximate weight of 707#. It is backed by a Lifetime Superior Warranty that covers the pole, backboard, and standard rim, and is manufactured in the USA.

Lifetime Superior Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
